Eye Gel for 24-25 years' old lady
Harry called me today and asked me whether I could recommend him any eye gel for 24-25 years' old lady. There are many options indeed.
The Body Shop: I don't think it works at all. I used its products when I was undergrad and umm it didn't work. OR perhaps I was too young to feel any difference.
Lancome : hydra zen yeux, fantastic! good stuff, quick absorption, non greasy, and acceptable price. Strongly recommend.
Chanel: multi protection eye gel, outstanding really quick absorption, non greasy. The price might be a problem, relatively much higher than lancome.
Benefit: I don't like the smell. I don't like it.
La Mer: good stuff but too expansive. It may take several years to proof the effect. The question is r u willing to wait and wait and wait?
EL: not good. Haven't used it but heard it was not good at all. Sorry EL, I loved u and your ANR before

Product review-- M.A.C tinted moisturiser -- light
Just bought it last week accompanying best friend Alice in Bicester Village. The one I got is light but they do have different shades for different skin tones.
I have dry-combination skin and I don't like to use foundation very often coz I am wearing glasses almost all the time when studying in day time. well, studying with my glasses at night as well, lol. And the office is just too dry coz we have the radiator on all the time... So, I think tinted moisturiser might be a great idea.
The price in Bicester Village is definitely lower than in stores. I think it is around £15 or perhaps £11? Sorry I can't recall that.
It does a good job, keeping my face moisturised. But it doesn't cover up blemishes sadly. Well, at least it doesn't make my skin look drier as when I put on foundations.
Total Rating: 4.0 (total 5.0)
Recommendation: use rich moisturiser as primer and use this as foundation. ohoh, it's got SPF 15, perfect for office ladies and students, unless u have to work glass rooms or tropical area. ^@^
Alternative: you may want to try tinted moisturiser from Benefit. That's good as well. Don't forget to sign up on Benefit's offical website. It emails members exclusive offers like 15% off or free delievery on a really really frequent basis. At least once a month if I recall correctly.

1st Day in blogging in the UK-- life as a PhD student
It's fun but sometimes it's hard as well. I mean, u should work hard to get progress.
Always cheered up by PHD @ http://www.phdcomics.com/. Found that I am not the only one feels that way.
Three things to say to myself : working harder, harder, and harder.
Used to have a Chinese blog but kinda abandoned it coz it comsumed so much time and effort. I will try to keep this one updated. Definitely.
I thought about every possible thing that I could blog about on a daily basis and that will be beauty and my PhD life.
So here we come, the 1st post on April 5th, 2011.
